Welcome to RCIA Lurnea
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) group at St. Francis Xavier Lurnea is responsible for preparing adults who wish to become Catholics. The RCIA is a process whereby those interested in learning about the Catholic faith come together on a weekly basis to learn about the scriptures and the teachings of the Catholic Church, and at the same time, to discover where God is present in their lives.
The RCIA takes place within a parish community in company with others on a similar journey.
The process is designed for those adults who are:
- Unbaptised
- Baptised in another tradition
- Baptised Catholic, but with no further religious training or sacraments.
Here at St. Francis Xavier, our RCIA sessions meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.
For More Information, contact Angelo Gattone or Father Peter Smith.
